Hi from Wisonsin

Hello, my name is Lisa and I live in Wisonsin. I have a married daughter that lives in Indianna, with her hubby and my 2 grandchildren. I have 2 grown sons that live about 10 blocks from me. Just wanted to say hello, and say how much i like this site!

Coool...!! What city in Indiana your daughter located? I'm in Franklin (Johnson County) area- 30 miles south of Indianapolis (the capital). We got a lil snow here- some central Indiana and Marion County near Indianapolis got more than we did-- hehe!!!

Some parts got 2-3 inches of snow.. Did WI get hit with snow? How's the weather there? I know Illinois did. What part of WI you from? Just curious.

I want some weather!!!

YESSSSS.....we got "hit" with snow.........guessing we got about 8-10 inches the other day, and probably an inch last nite. Spose to get more this week....blahhhhhhhh, and its been sooooo cold.
I Love spending time with the grandkids (ages 2 and 4) but now that they have moved I dont see them as much as I would like to. They were just here a couple weeks ago for my BD, which ws a very nice time!

I have two nieces-- same age 2 and 4. Birthdays are in Feb and March. When are their birthdays? Just wondering.

What do you like to do with the snow? Do you ever build snowmen or igloo's? I usually play snowball fights, but I don't enjoy the snow as much as I did when I was a kid. Of course the snow is always fun for the kids, but when you grow up it feels all icky sometimes. It especially sucks driving in it- especially when you gotta drive on ice.

Are they using that new thing from NASA to melt the snows there instead of the salt? They're using a powder substance here that is approved by NASA. Just wondering.

Well hello from WI....8-10 inches of snow. WOW!! Guess i dont got it so bad in Pa...lol How cold it it there? it has been about 17 here. i dont have any grandkids yet but i do have 4 kids. we are celebrating my daughterrs birthday today. she will be 5 on the 8th.

hey michelle..you asked what we like to play in the snow. i am a snow angel and snowman girl...lol when i was younger i used to bury my little sister in the snow....i know i know..that isnt very nice...but it was fun i of coure dont do that ot her now...man it isnt fun to grow up..heehe

If I could send you guys some snow, trust me.I would! I like some, but it gets old real fast. I guess if it was a toss up tho between the cold, and the snow, I would pick the snow. It gets so bitterly cold here, especially when the wind kicks up. The fall of the year is my favorite time....nice weather....trees changing color...very pretty. Winter comes to fast, and lasts to long....lol

I was just saying on another post I'd trade the snow for warmness-- haha! I prefer the snow over that cold icky weather anytime! The cold wind is the pain that gets me!! BRRRRRR!

Angels are cool. Snowmen are awesome.. Igloo's are the blast, but its hard when the snow ices over and won't stick together- then its a hard time building anything.. Igloo's take too much time though and my parents always worried it would cave in on me or something, so I never got a chance to build one.. hehe!
